Community Acts of Kindness - Volunteering Day

We believe in giving back to our community and supporting important causes through our volunteer programmes. Community Acts of Kindness supports RSPCA employees to use one of their five annual priorities to contribute to a community cause through volunteering for an RSPCA centre or branch, another animal welfare charity or a charity aligned to our mission or values.

Since its launch in 2022, we have had an incredible 835 RSPCA employees participate, with an estimated minimum of 5,845 hours of community volunteering in total and many supporting their local branches and animal centres. Activities have included painting and decorating, gardening, cat socialising, beach cleaning and speaking at a local school.
