We are looking for a new team member as a Data Test Analyst
Working hours: 35 hours / Mon - Friday.

The role is technical in nature and will involve reconciling data between source and target, testing API's, system integrations and data mappings with transformations. Applicants must have a good working knowledge of API testing tools, SQL and/or SOQL & Salesforce.
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and knowledge of structured testing techniques. Working collaboratively in BAU and project environments as required, you will ensure formal testing of systems, applications and data is undertaken and consistently delivered to a high standard.
In addition to System testing, you will also facilitate and coordinate OAT and UAT. Including running workshops with users, mentoring them in the OAT/ UAT lifecycle and capturing and processing any feedback that needs to be passed back to the project team.

- Create or update detailed test cases and scenarios in advance of test execution activities.
- Execution of manual and/or automated testing using the prepared test cases.
- Support and facilitate Business User and Operation Acceptance Testing.
- Report on progress, including escalating any testing related risks and issues.
- Experience of API Testing and tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc).
- Experience in manually executing integration testing from 1 system to another, ensuring data flows as expected and can be reconciled.
- Experience of working Data Mapping sheets and understanding the tests required for transformations.
- Experience of using SOQL and/or SQL.
- Mulesoft connecting to other systems (Salesforce, Postgres, BigQuery, etc).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with internal, external, technical and nontechnical resources.
- Competent in the production of project reports to demonstrate progress or issues.
Successful candidates for certain RSPCA roles will need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK - We are unable to sponsor visas at RSPCA
Due to high interest in some of our roles, we review applications as they are received. This can occasionally result in positions closing earlier than advertised. Therefore, we strongly recommend submitting applications early. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications after the posted closing date.
We want to ensure we do all we can to give you a positive candidate experience through our recruitment. Whilst we do try to give feedback where we can, sometimes due to receiving high levels of applications, this may not always be possible
We are building the future of a diverse Society, and our priority is to support animal welfare by finding people from all backgrounds who are committed to our mission. For this reason we actively encourage a wide diversity of applications - in particular from members of minority ethnic groups, and people with disabilities - as these candidates are currently under-represented at the RSPCA. Your transferable skills & lived experiences could make you a valuable addition to our RSPCA Family!
Should you need any support with your application or interview process please contact resourcingteam@rspca.org.uk / 0300 123 0685.
