We're placing greater focus on Health & Safety, embedding it deeply within our culture and ensuring it underpins everything we do. To help drive this forward, we're looking for a confident and collaborative Health & Safety Advisor to join us and play a vital role in protecting and empowering the people behind our mission.
- Working hours: 29.75 hours per week maternity cover.
- 9 month fixed term contract.
- Hybrid role: Initially you will be homebased with some occasional attendance to sites for health and safety assessments.

In this varied and meaningful role, you'll work closely with teams across the organisation—providing expert advice, supporting policy development, promoting best practice, and helping to foster a positive, proactive approach to health, safety and wellbeing.
You'll respond to H&S enquiries, investigate incidents, and advise on practical solutions to reduce risk. You may support working groups, deliver training sessions, and ensure that risk assessments, audits and site visits are conducted to a high standard. You'll also have the opportunity to influence wider initiatives, from occupational health and wellbeing to contractor management and fitness-for-work reviews.
Expect a role that's both strategic and hands-on, with plenty of opportunity to collaborate, coach and make a real difference. Travel and occasional overnight stays will be part of the role.
- A Level 3 Health & Safety qualification (or actively working towards it).
- Strong working knowledge of H&S legislation, risk management and best practice.
- Experience supporting or leading cultural change in safety practices.
- Confidence in delivering training, advising on incidents, and building engagement across all levels of an organisation.
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and build positive working relationships.
