We're recruiting a Learning and Development Advisor to contribute to the creation, delivery and embedding of the learning and development element of the People Strategy; acting as a Centre of Excellence for the delivery of Learning and Development strategies, policies and processes.

  • Working hours: 25 hours over a 4 day work week (flexible on the days)
  • 12 Month fixed term contract - Maternity cover.
  • Homebased role: You will be fully remote with the option to attend onsite as and when you wish.

What a day might look like for you

We're looking for a driven and passionate individual who has previous experience working in a Learning and Development function. Ideally you'll have experience of learning design and delivery in a complex, multi-site, multi-divisional organisation. You'll build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide advice and guidance about a range of L&D solutions to support the delivery of personal, departmental and business objectives.

  • Business Partnering with the RSPCA's Operations Directorate.
  • Working closely with HR Business Partners, the wider Learning and Talent Development Team and the organisation as a subject matter expert on learning and development.
  • Designing,developing and delivering learning solutions, aligned with the RSPCA's Strategic Priorities and Values and Behaviours.
  • Supporting the implementation of the RSPCA strategy, P&C Plan and Learning and Talent Development Plan. 
  • Leveraging learning technologies to develop creative solutions that will effectively scale for a nationally dispersed workforce.
  • Assisting in the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of learning Return on Investment.
  • Producing and contributing to reports on L&D activities.
  • Supporting transformational projects through leading workstreams and coordinating other Subject Matter Experts. .
What you'll bring:

  • Facilitation and coaching skills.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Flexibility to thrive in a fluid environment.
  • CIPD qualification and/or relevant L&D experience. 

Successful candidates for certain RSPCA roles will need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
