A bit about us

Do you want to create a better world for animals? At the RSPCA, we believe all animals deserve kindness and respect. We work for the benefit of every animal. Choose a career with us and make a difference for every kind.

We are looking for a new Senior In Memory Manager to join us on a full time, permanent basis

Are you ready to join our movement?

Here's a snapshot of some of the key work you'll be doing:

This is a brand new, exciting role that will play an important part in meeting our ambition to grow our In Memory income and become the Animal charity of choice for this way of giving.

You will have ownership to evolve this role and make it your own whilst activating our In Memory strategy, offering recommendations for adjustments, evolution and continued growth. While this role has no direct reports you will be collaborating closely with a range of departments in the Society, so great relationship management and influencing skills are key.

Responsibilities include leading product development and promotional efforts in collaboration with marketing and fundraising teams, forecasting income and ensuring adherence to best practices As the key point of contact for In Memory giving, you will inspire stakeholders, deliver strategic projects, and provide creative oversight for impactful campaigns.

If you're ready to make a meaningful difference and have a track record in product management, we'd love to hear from you!

For a full insight into what the role entails, please see attached the job description.

What you'll bring:
  • Experience in managing a project/product team through matrix management.
  • Product development experience, with the ability to develop new ideas and translate them into effective action plans.
  • Extensive practical experience in managing complex multi-faceted pieces of work, including scheduling and planning.
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder management, including identifying, addressing, and resolving differences between individuals and/or interest groups.
  • Multi-channel marketing experience, including management of creative delivery.
  • Analysis and evaluation skills to demonstrate the impact of activities and programmes of work.
  • A ‘can do' attitude with the ability to cope under pressure, with resilience and determination.
  • Demonstrable knowledge, ideally direct experience, of In Memory fundraising.

Successful candidates for certain RSPCA roles will need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK - We are unable to sponsor visas at RSPCA

Final note from us & good luck with your application!

Due to high interest in some of our roles, we review applications as they are received. This can occasionally result in positions closing earlier than advertised. Therefore, we strongly recommend submitting applications early. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications after the posted closing date.

We want to ensure we do all we can to give you a positive candidate experience through our recruitment. Whilst we do try to give feedback where we can, sometimes due to receiving high levels of applications, this may not always be possible

We recognise that a diverse and inclusive workforce is essential to achieving our core mission. For this reason we actively encourage a wide diversity of applications - in particular from members of minority ethnic groups, and people with disabilities - as these candidates are currently under-represented at the RSPCA.

Should you need any support with your application or interview process please contact resourcingteam@rspca.org.uk / 0300 123 0685.

Our mission is to ensure animals have a good life by rescuing and caring for those in need, by advocating on behalf of all animals and by inspiring everyone to treat them with compassion and respect
