We are looking for a new team member as a Senior Marketing Manager - Brand.
- Working hours: 35 hours / Monday - Friday.
- Hybrid role: Your base will be at either our Horsham, West Sussex or London Hub.
- Hybrid working isn't a tick exercise for us - we have monthly team meetings in each of our Hubs and it would be great to see you there!

As a new and growing team the Strategic Marketing Team is constantly identifying new opportunities within the RSPCA. You will work closely with the Section Lead to extend the RSPCA's reach and engage new audiences in Animal Welfare, while also leading on already established marketing and engagement campaigns. There is the opportunity to help shape the Strategic Marketing Team's planning and processes so the ideal candidate would have experience working in a growing team and establishing marketing and engagement approaches for the first time.
The team works across the full breadth of the RSPCA, as the Senior Marketing Manager you will either directly, or by supporting members of your team, work on projects in all areas of the business.
Partnership working is critical to the success of the Strategic Marketing Team. We have a well established and strong mix of communications, marketing and engagement professionals working at the RSPCA. You will partner with colleagues in strategic support (audience research, planning and innovation), Data and Insight, and Digital Experience, to name a few to develop integrated marketing and comms responses.
Are you someone who can confidently lead a team in growth and provide expert advice and guidance to teams across the business on marketing strategy?
The Strategic Marketing Team is expanding, and in this newly created role, you will lead a team of two, with the potential for future growth. Experience in managing teams, particularly in a remote setting, is essential. We're looking for someone who thrives in an environment where priorities and strategies are still evolving, with an agile approach to the role being crucial.
To succeed, you'll need strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, alongside extensive marketing and engagement experience. As a Senior Marketing Manager, you'll be adept in marketing planning, helping internal partners navigate opportunities or challenges, and creating audience-focused strategies.
Key Skills:
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities, with a talent for engaging others toward common goals
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information
- Experience managing a variety of campaigns, from behavior change and fundraising, to partnerships, education, and thought leadership
- Proven ability to manage agencies, including competitive tendering

Successful candidates for certain RSPCA roles will need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
