We are looking for a new team member to join us as a Senior Marketing Manager within our Brand, Marketing & Content team on a permanent basis.

Working hours: 35 hours / Monday – Friday
Location:: You will be a hybrid worker based from either our London or Horsham Hub with a main focus on home working. The team usually meets twice a month but this flexed around you and the needs of the operation.

Application

1st Stage Panel Interview - W/C 31st August - Virtual, Competency & task based
If your application is successful, you'll be invited to a virtual panel interview with the Hiring Manager. This is a chance to:

  • We encourage you to ask questions about the role, the team, and the impact you could make. Interviews are a two-way conversation, and we recognise that any career move needs to feel right for you as well as for us.
  • Show your skills and behaviours in a relaxed, supportive setting

There will also be a task element to this role which will be sent to you ahead of your interview.

2nd Stage Interview - Virtual, Meet more of the team

What a day might look like for you

Here at the RSPCA no two days are the same, as a Senior Marketing Manager - Brand,  we've added a short summary of what a typical day might look like, for a full insight please refer to the attached job description.

In this role, you'll be a strategic leader tasked with driving audience first marketing that inspires the public to actively support our mission for animal welfare. You'll lead and mentor a team of Marketing Managers, planning overall team workflows, progressing project briefs through your managers, and guiding them to deliver best in class work. Alongside directing creative strategy, agency partners, and major integrated campaigns, you'll build organisation wide capability through marketing tools and training. Crucially, you'll use your senior influencing and negotiation skills to partner with Heads of Department, introduce strategic marketing to new teams, and resolve complex cross organisational challenges so our audiences receive a joined up brand experience.

What will help you succeed in this role:
  • Strong leadership and line management skills
  • Proven project management skills 
  • Extensive experience managing brand and marketing campaigns, which you either drive from start to completion or collaborate with subject matter experts to execute. 
  • Experience working with agencies and confidence managing these relationships including briefing, providing feedback and managing timelines and budgets. 
  • Extensive experience working on campaigns that delivered results across a range of channels. You have the ability to be innovative in your marketing tactics to engage new audiences and stand out in a crowded market. 
  • Extensive experience managing brand and marketing campaigns, which you either drive from start to completion or collaborate with subject matter experts to execute.

Successful candidates for certain RSPCA roles will need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
