We are looking for a Change Portfolio Manager to come join us within our Strategy and Transformation directorate to enable, engage with and support change across the RSPCA.
- Contract - 12 Month Fixed Term Maternity Cover
- Working hours: 35 hours per week- Monday to Friday.
- Hybrid role: your base will be at our London or Horsham office and you will also work from home.

As Change Portfolio Manager, you'll be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing expert insights and recommendations to drive strategic initiatives and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation. You'll lead the successful delivery of the change portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and the target operating model.
This role will involve:
- Driving Strategic Initiatives: Overseeing the successful delivery of strategic initiatives within the change portfolio.
- Portfolio Prioritisation & Decision Making: Providing expert insights and recommendations on portfolio prioritisation (including budget and resource allocation) and facilitating senior decision making.
- Influencing & Collaboration: Influencing multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless execution of change initiatives, managing risks and dependencies, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Portfolio Performance Reporting: Capture the relevant data and deliver regular change portfolio performance reporting couple with strategic insights, tailored to specific audiences.
- The post holder must have proven experience of change portfolio governance with a focus on benefits, impact management and data driven decision making.
- Applicants must have strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- To succeed within this role you must be able to demonstrate that you have extensive experience in strategic portfolio, programme and/or project management and change delivery.
- You will have a proven ability to influence multi disciplinary teams through complex matrix structures and will be key to the seamless execution of change initiatives, effectively managing risks and dependencies.
Successful candidates for certain RSPCA roles will need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
