We are looking for a new team member as Salesforce Developer, you will be working as part of the IT Solutions team.
- Working hours: 35 hours / Mon - Friday.
- Hybrid role: Your base will be at Horsham West Sussex. Hybrid working isn't a tick exercise for us - we live the values, expectation for this role will be up to 4 days per month in our Horsham hub and this is open to flex around you and the operation
It's important to us that you feel part of our team from the start. We like to keep in touch with regular check-ins and team meetings. There's always a teammate around for support or a quick chat.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Developer to join us here at the RSPCA to support the continuous improvement of our operational systems. This enables our National Control Centre to receive, manage and task over 1M Animal Welfare concerns a year from the General Public to our field-based Inspectors. The Developer would be tasked to deliver this we make use of cutting edge Salesforce technologies such as Service Cloud, Field Service and Salesforce Maps.
We are now looking to incorporate additional complementary technologies to support our digital transformation roadmap.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Promoting and providing a no-code/low-code approach to solutions wherever possible.
- Ensuring that where code is required that it is written to a best practice approach, is tested and is fit for purpose.
- Evaluating requirements, identifying solutions and recommending options.
- Experience in Salesforce Service Cloud is essential.
- Experience working as a Salesforce developer.
- Salesforce administration and development experience with appropriate certifications (such as ADM-201 and DEV-401) would be a bonus!
- Experience of developing solutions in Apex, Lightning Components & Salesforce Flow.
- Understanding of Salesforce Architecture and APIs.
- Release management and CI/CD best practices and tooling.
- Further experience in Sales Cloud, Field Service and Experience Cloud are desirable.
Successful candidates for certain RSPCA roles will need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
