A bit about us

We're on the lookout for a Branch Account Manager to help support and develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the branch network, supporting the branches to develop strategic plans for growth and sustainability.

In this role you will be a vital strategic advisor, bridging the gap between national strategy and local impact. You will be responsible for understanding the unique needs of our branches to deliver tailored solutions and foster cross-functional collaboration. By negotiating key service agreements and providing data-driven oversight, you will drive mutual value across the network, ensuring every branch is empowered to meet the overarching strategic objectives and advance animal welfare.

Our recruitment journey - key dates for you to note:

We believe in transparency and a stress-free experience. Here is a quick look at what you can expect.

Application

Please attach your CV & Cover letter outlining your experience and interest for the role to give us a sense of your experience, skills, and potential. Don't worry if you don't tick every box - what really matters is what you can bring to the role and the team.

Virtual Panel Interview

If your application hits the mark, we'll invite you to attend a virtual interview via google meeting. You'll sit down with the Hiring Manager and another member of the team for a competency based interview.

What a day might look like for you

As one of five Branch Account Managers you will be on hand to provide the professional partnership and strategic support our branches need to ensure that, together, we can change the lives of animals for the better.

Your day may include:

  • Building Partnerships & Advocacy You'll focus on fostering long-term, trust-based relationships with branches across your region. As their main point of contact, you ensure they feel supported and heard, acting as a branch advocate within the wider Society to make sure their perspectives shape our internal decisions.
  • Driving Standards & Consistency You'll lead on developing and negotiating service agreements, ensuring clarity and mutual accountability. By promoting agreed frameworks and best practices, you help branches balance local flexibility with the Society's strategic objectives, ensuring branches are sustainable, compliant, and fair.
  • Strategic Data Insights You will monitor and interpret data on branch performance and sustainability to identify risks and opportunities. By providing evidence-based reports, you help branches anticipate emerging trends and use data insights to guide tailored, future-focused solutions.
  • Accountability & Impact You'll take full ownership of your regional portfolio, balancing immediate branch needs with long-term strategic goals. From capturing lessons learned to maintaining accurate records for compliance, your work ensures transparency and drives continuous improvement across the entire branch network.

Final note from us & good luck with your application!

We want to ensure we do all we can to give you a positive candidate experience through our recruitment. Whilst we do try to give feedback where we can, sometimes due to receiving high levels of applications, this may not always be possible

We are building the future of a diverse Society, and our priority is to support animal welfare by finding people from all backgrounds who are committed  to our mission.  For this reason we actively encourage a wide diversity of applications - in particular from members of minority ethnic groups, and people with disabilities - as these candidates are currently under-represented at the RSPCA. Your transferable skills & lived experiences could make you a valuable addition to our RSPCA Family!

We're here to support you and encourage you to let us know if you need any adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process. Please feel free to contact us at resourcingteam@rspca.org.uk or 0300 123 0685 so we can ensure the process works for you.
